The JMI Joint Committees Meeting serves as a focal point for JMI members’ representatives engaged in programs committees to get together, exchange opinions and ideas, and discuss and steer all international JMI programs and initiatives. This meeting is held once a year in a different country and hosted by a member organisation. In 2023, the JMI Joint Committees Meeting will take place in JMI World Meeting Centre in Grožnjan, Croatia, from May 24th to 27th, with an optional extra training day on May 27th (in this case, departures a day later). DATES MAY 24th - Arrivals MAY 25th/26th - Joint Meetings MAY 27th - Departures OR (OPTIONAL): MAY 27th - Training on EU grants MAY 28th - Departures ABOUT THE EXTRA TRAINING DAY After the JM Joint Meetings, committee members have the opportunity to register for an extra day of training focused on applying for EU grants. This training is free for committee members. Tentative schedule of the training: Session 1 - JMI Structure and Network Session 2 - Overview of EU Funding opportunities Session 3 - Group Work Session 4 - Practical Tips & Tricks + Q&A + Round Off CONDITIONS - Delegates must cover their travel to and from Trieste (Italy) or Pula (Croatia). - JMI covers local transfers from Trieste/Pula to and from Grožnjan, plus accommodation and meals. - Delegates are expected to take care of their visa costs and all other official requirements and have sufficient pocket money for their private expenses. - If invitation letters are required, contact JM International as soon as possible. GETTING THERE The nearest airports to Grožnjan are Trieste (TRS) Airport, 52.5 km away, and Pula (PUY) Airport, 86 km away. Other nearby airports include Venice (VCE) (108.8 km), Ljubljana (LJU) (110.5 km), Venice Treviso (TSF) (122.2 km) and Zagreb (ZAG) (186.3 km). JMI and JM Croatia will organise shuttle buses/taxis from Trieste and Pula. It will take approximately 1/1h30 to reach Grožnjan from these places. DEADLINE Please register by May 15th at 12 noon CET.
